Lake Country Community Legal Clinic is seeking an experienced staff

This collaborative position will be based in our clinic but will work with all the
Northern Clinics in the area of Elder/Senior Law. There is a large component of
community development and public legal education as we are expanding into this
area of law across the North. The areas of law include powers of attorney,
consent and capacity issues, retirement home tenancies, long-term care facilities
and health care law.
The successful applicant must be a member in good standing with the Law
Society of Upper Canada as well as own a vehicle and be able to travel (by
airplane or train) throughout the North.
This position requires you to possess excellent interpersonal and communication
skills as well as superior advocacy and writing ability. Ability to write and
communicate in French is an asset. Salary is based on year of call and includes a
