6. The Respondent shall pay costs to the Law Society in the amount
of $4,500 on or before September 18, 2022. Commencing the
day following the deadline for payment, interest shall accrue on
any unpaid portion of those costs at the rate of 2% per year.

In this proceeding concerning Ping Lee, 2012, of Richmond Hill,
further to the panel’s order of July 11, 2017, finding that the Paralegal
had committed professional misconduct, the panel considered the
issues of penalty and costs.
The panel orders:
1. The Paralegal’s licence to provide legal services is revoked, effective
2. The Paralegal shall comply with the Guidelines for Former
Paralegals Whose Licences Have Been Revoked or Who Have Been
Permitted to Surrender Their Licences.
3. The Paralegal shall pay costs in the amount of $90,000 within two
years of the date of this Order, failing which interest shall accrue at
2% per year.
