Economical Insurance has several contract and full-time employment
opportunities available in 2018. These roles allow and promote strategic input
and professional development.
In these roles, incumbents will provide guidance, advice and support to a diverse
range of operating units across Economical and will be relied on as a primary
source of expertise, providing sound advice and driving consistency.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of post-call experience in one or more
of the following areas:
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating non-disclosure, license, professional
services, marketing, corporate services and lease agreements, and contract
• Researching, interpreting and advising on risk and regulatory compliance,
with particular focus on any of outsourcing, IT, privacy, advertising/marketing
and insurance operations
• Documenting, structuring and negotiating debt and equity financing
• Reviewing, drafting, structuring and negotiating commercial agreements
relating to the provision of insruance products and services
Excellent communication, research and drafting skills are required, including the
ability to effectively and appropriately advise cross-functional business partners
and other members of the legal team.
Candidates with exposure to property and casualty insurance, financial
institutions, and/or IT will be of particular interest.
