The panel orders:
1. The applicant shall only practise law or provide legal services as an
employee;of;a;licensed;lawyer;in;good;standing;with;the;Law;Society;
or;employed;in;education;;or;employed;in;government;;or;employed
by a corporation. Such employer must be acceptable to the executive
Director, Professional Regulation (the “executive Director”), or his/
her delegate and the applicant shall obtain written consent from
the executive Director, or his/her delegate, before commencing
employment.
2. In the event that the applicant’s employer becomes unwilling or
unable to continue to employ him or, his employment ceases for
any reason or, information comes to the attention of the executive
Director, or his/her delegate, which causes the executive Director,
or his/her delegate, to determine that the employer is no longer
acceptable to the Law Society, the applicant shall immediately notify
the executive Director and shall cease practising law or providing
legal services until he is able to secure employment with another
licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society, or secure
employment in education or in government or for a corporation and
the executive Director has given his/her written consent.
3. The applicant will give a copy of this Order, the Capacity Order and
a copy of the statement marked as exhibit “3” explaining the 2007
capacity result, to any employer and will provide written confirmation
to the Regulatory Compliance Department of the Law Society
(“Regulatory Compliance”) that he has done so within seven (7) days
of accepting an offer of employment.
4.;The;employment;requirement;will;terminate;two;years;from;the;date
of the Order.
5. While employed in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 above, the
applicant will not open, operate or have signing authority on any
trust account(s) established in connection with the practice of law or
provision of legal services at any chartered bank, provincial savings
office, credit union or a league to which the Credit Unions and
Caisses Populaires Act, 1994, applies or a registered trust corporation.
6. The applicant shall continue in treatment with and as recommended
by Dr. Brenken or any successor regulated health professional
qualified in the areas in which the applicant requires treatment,
