We are currently seeking a solution driven, motivated team player to work as Corporate Counsel
out of our head office in London, Ontario. The successful candidate must possess excellent
analytical and time management skills, and be committed to learning.
Supported by external counsel and reporting to the CFO, this position is focused on securities,
corporate, privacy and regulatory law. The position also supports the execution of corporate
initiatives and the Bank’s business objectives. The successful incumbent will serve as a focal point
for communication with the Board of Directors, senior management and security holders. The
Corporate Counsel position has two direct reports, those being a Law Clerk and a Legal Assistant.
The ideal candidate is a lawyer in good standing that also has an MBA or HBA degree. At least five
years working experience is required, preferably in the financial services industry, and a minimum
of three years public company experience would be an advantage.

Agro Zaffiro LLP is a multi-service law firm in Hamilton, Ontario with a particular
focus on insurance litigation. We have a strong work ethic and close ties to the
Southern Ontario community. We have practice groups in many areas including
casualty and property insurance, subrogation and several others.
We are currently and immediately seeking a lawyer with 3-5 years of post-call
experience to add to our growing insurance defence practice.
Successful applicants will possess seasoned knowledge and experience in tort,
accident benefits and other insurance claims, a strong academic background and
time management skills, and a high degree of professional and personal ethics,
integrity and responsibility. The successful candidate must also enjoy working in
a team atmosphere and individually. The role will include active carriage of client
matters from assignment until trial. Litigation experience is a necessity.
