Rogers Communications Inc. is a Canadian communications and media company. It operates
particularly in the field of wireless communications, cable television, telephone, and Internet
connectivity and content creation. The regulatory department advises on some of the most
challenging and innovative issues facing the telecommunications and media industries in Canada
and is currently looking to recruit a Sr. Manager, Regulatory Media.
For this position, you will have exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) and an
innate ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, high volume environment. You will
draft and oversee preparation and progress of CRTC broadcasting applications/interventions,
assist and participate in the preparation and conduct of regulatory hearings/appearances related to
content creation, aggregation and distribution and much more. You are a self-starter with an interest
in policy and its application to content creation and willing to learn to operate as a business partner
by providing guidance on compliance issues and strategic advice on regulatory issues to Rogers’
Media Business Unit. The position will be based out of Toronto or Ottawa.

Salary Range: $68,234-$73,977, 35 hours per week
• Review and process real estate transactions and agreements, including preparing and registering
closing documents • Research, interpret and apply legislation regarding statutes and regulations
pertaining to real estate and conveyancing law • Prepare and file documents related to planning
and development application appeals to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal • Register easements
and restrictions on title, prepare acknowledgement and direction • Prepare documents including
agreements, leases, correspondence, document templates • Provide legal support to client
departments in respect of legal matters, under the direction of Legal Counsel.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree for Law Clerks, or equivalent education and work experience; • A
minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as a Law Clerk in a private or public sector environment,
preferably in real estate law; • Demonstrated experience in closing real estate transactions,
combined with thorough working knowledge of land development process and procedures • Law
clerk certificate/designation is an asset • Member in good standing of the Institute of Law Clerks of
Ontario is an asset • Thorough working knowledge in Registry and Land Title Systems; Teraview
