DIRECTOR OF STUDENT PROGRAMS – 12-month contract
STIKEMAN ELLIOTT is one of Canada’s leading business law firms, with

opportunity for an innovative and dynamic lawyer with excellent people skills
and a great team spirit to join our team as the Interim Director of Student
Programs in Toronto.
Working with the Talent Management Department, the Students Committee,
the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and other members of firm management,
the successful candidate will have responsibility for all areas of student
recruitment and our students’ career development and engagement, and will
assist with aspects of our educational and other professional development
programs and diversity & inclusion initiatives. The successful candidate will
also work closely with other committees on various projects and initiatives.

Duration of Contract: 12 months
Location: Toronto Office
The successful candidate will have:
• excellent academic credentials;
• at least 3 years of experience practicing at a large law firm;
• outstanding interpersonal skills, communication skills and judgement;
• excellent written and oral presentation skills;
• the ability to lead large projects, handle multiple priorities, and problem-
solve effectively and diplomatically; and
• experience, as well as a strong interest and aptitude, in mentoring and
