Elad Canada (Elad) is a diverse real estate company – a developer of mixed-use,
master planned condominium sites in Toronto and Montreal, a landlord with a
significant portfolio of quasi-industrial/flex office space through its recent acquisition of

approach and leverages opportunities in markets at home and overseas.
Elad is seeking an experienced real estate lawyer to join their Toronto office located
in North York. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will work on
a variety of matters relating to the company’s development projects in Ontario and
Québec as well as assisting the General Counsel with ad hoc corporate matters.
Responsibilities will include: advising on transactions including acquisitions,
dispositions and financings; advising the company’s planning and development teams
on project related matters in Ontario and Québec; advising on construction matters;
drafting and negotiating commercial agreements; managing litigation files; and
advising on other matters affecting the company’s business.
The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of post-call real estate experience gained
from a reputable law firm or a major real estate player. Experience with municipal
development and condominium processes as well as construction matters is not
necessary, but would be desirable. Elad is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded and
highly organized individual who is a strong team player and looking to tackle new and
diverse challenges in a fast-paced setting.
